Well I hate losing Chiasson, as I think he may get a chance to play on the 1st line in Ottawa, but I have some extra depth at RW. I really was looking for some late picks, but needed a good young player to move Chiasson. Lindholm's ceiling is pretty high, but he has yet to prove it at the NHL level. Thanks for the deal thunder!

Well this is probably the hardest deal I have ever done in any fantasy league. Moving two studs really hurts, but I feel that I get some great young depth back. Malkin is on a great contract, but is getting older, and if I'm going to commit to rebuilding, Ovechkin had to go also. Thanks Drew for the deal and working with me!

 recieves: LW Cory Conacher, $0.2m (P-14/15) RW Ales Hemsky, $1.1m (2015-2016) C Jordan Schroeder, $m (P-15/16) receives: D Zdeno Chara, $6.9m (2017-2018) 5m this year confirms this deal. Well, this is really just to load up for a run this year. I don't love Chara and his age, but he plays on a great team, and still gets top PP time. His contract is terrible, but hopefully he has another great 2 years, and retires!  And I get 5m this year to help out with that! I am high on Conacher, and think he has a great upside. Schroeder also has a pretty high ceiling. Hemsky looked great with his new team at the end of the year. But, story told, I move 2 role players and a high end spec for an old, high-priced, but proven defense-man. Thanks Gilly as always for the deal!

I hate giving up my best goalie, but I have plenty of guys that are going to be getting starts next year. I hate giving up Jurco also, but I needed to stack up on some more guys to keep up in the division. I really like both pieces that I get. Thanks Jared for the deal!
