Will FNHL continue to use Fantrax league forum for transactions or is there a plan to move official transactions back to this Profsl site?

Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Re: DISCUSSION: Tentative June 25th Season End, Impacts?« on: June 11, 2020, 10:59:11 AM »
I would like to move the season end date to mid-July.
That would ensure most/ALL owners are re-engaged to manage their teams and allow us new owners to do some work with extensions and trades after take time to see what's available from other teams. Agree the cap should remain the same at 81.5M to move the season fwd. 44

I'm missing hockey in a bad way right now. I'm getting the shakes and cold sweats. It's definitely not COVID-19 either. haha
I've watched some old games getting rebroadcast but it's not the same. And are those games from only 15 years back slow or what? Wow! Crazy how fast the game is today. 45

Looks like we're trending toward a longer pause than weeks.
"Months" is what schools and local government are people are talking about in different circles. Although a restart in July seems like a workable scenario still. 46

No labor tension. The pause is a result of a pandemic that's out of their control and the NHL is simply doing the right thing to contribute to process of slowing down the spread. But when they get a chance, the owners and players will be chomping at the bit to get started. 47

Coleman has the track record to back up that large contract so I'm not sure he's really deserving of attention of the overpaid list. Just my 2 cents.

6. D - Ryan McDonagh, $5.3m (2017-2020) - plays like a 7th or 8th D
I see from the Completed Transactions that McDonagh was a Cane and dealt for a 2nd rounder to the Flames. I give props to the last owner for that trade. McDonagh lost his PP1 unit PT to Shattenkirk and the results speak for themselves. He is no better than a shutdown defenceman as long as Tampa doesn't give him PP mins. 49

Some of the recent #1 overall picks have been rushed to the NHL. Dahlin could've used at least 1-1.5 seasons in the AHL. Jack Hughes is another one. It hasn't helped that they play for bad teams and those teams pushed their top picks into the spotlight treating them as generational players versus very talented young players who need seasoning and mentoring in the lower ranks.

Probably my biggest issue is handling zero hockey. Tough.
