The San Francisco Giants and Chicago Cubs have agreed to a trade.

Giants Receive:
OF Jesus Sanchez, Marlins $0.5 (P-2024)
MI Vidal Brujan, Rays $0.5 (P-2025)
SP Eric Cerantola, Royals

Cubs Receive:
MI J.P. Crawford $4.0 (2026)

The Giants accept. Crawford is a fantastic player, but not part of my long-term plans, and I'll jump at the opportunity to add three quality players for one every time. Sanchez is a young, productive, and inexpensive outfielder who gives me tremendous flexibility with my lineup. Brujan is a fast and exciting former top-100 prospect, who I think will have a big role with Tampa next year. Cerantola is big pitcher with electric stuff who is on the rise. Thanks to the Cubs for the easy talks, and good luck.

Cubs agree.  I have a good mix of young and older players so adding a starting MI makes sense for me.  I need to capitalize on the seasons while I have Cole as my Ace SP1.  Thanks for the negotiations.
