Wow, after the first 3 it’s hard in my opinion of who to pick at #4 but I am going to have to stick with
Alex Galchenyuk, C, MTL
He was consistent after his first 2 years of putting up points over 40+ and he has been in the NHL since he was first drafted and is still only 25

Yes I do know. Since I am still new to the league I want to stay below the cap only because I don’t want to have to make moves to get under that I would rather not do.
Plus I need all the extra cap space I can get since everyone here has basically told me free agency in this league is a free for all. I know I won’t be able to match some of you guys with way more cap space but I definitely want to be able to add a few pieces if possible.

The Blues agrees to this deal.
The Blues do this deal to add a young talented Dman prospect with loads of potential along with a 1st round pick in the Supplemental Draft.
The trade for Nico partly helps me trade Anisimov. I didn’t want to keep him and sign him to a multi year contract with him being over 30 years old.
This also helps shed more cap for other moves-free agency, extensions or more trades this coming season and going forward.

New Blues owner.
The Blues are putting everyone on the block. Now some players will be harder to get than others but will trade anyone in the right deal. Also considering who I trade and get in return prior to free agency if I get any deal(s) done will provide me with clarity of who I am trading or not trading going forward.
Will trade picks but not my 2020 1st for anything and will trade any prospect not named Bowers, Lijegren, Hill or Parsons.
Could be persuaded in the right trade to trade the following prospects
Ikonen
Kupari
I am looking to trade Hutton if anyone wants him and to resign up before the deadline. I see no point in signing him for a few years when I have 2 possibly 3 in the minors that should either be playing this year or next year or in 2021-2022 for far cheaper. Otherwise I will be letting him go to free agency.
We are looking for picks, prospects or nhl players. Mostly looking to shed a good deal of cap.

The Redbirds agree to this deal.
The Redbirds do this deal to get a younger pitcher that is a bit cheaper on a longer contract.

The Blues do the trade to get a young talented Center with a ton of untapped potential that will be one of our surplus of forwards for years to come.
I get rid of 2 Wingers that weren’t in our future plans. Plus I shed some cap for my first up coming free agency.
