For the vegas draft will there be official exemption and protection page setup or is there an particular one we are using on main board?  Just a lot of topics on the main board.

From now thru end of June, we'll have dedicated threads cleaned as much as possible to highlight exempt list, and protected list.

It's a work in progress since we didn't collect a $500 million expansion fee and can't afford to pay actual FNHL staff even though sometimes I think I should ask for that much LOL

Rules question ... if a franchise releases a player via the ABO process in April, is that same franchise eligible to try and sign that player during free agency in August?

Not sure if this (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=243703.0) applies in this scenario or not.

Quick answer, YES!
Why? Because cutting the player now would be in the 2016-17 season on up thru to July. As of August 15, 2017, the 2017-18 season begins (we roll over contracts to the new season in late July-early August).

One year BO of a contract through 2015-2018 goes against which seasons salary? 16-17 or 17-18

Post Cup Final April into June.

If 16-17, Do I have to stay under the original salary or the extended salary.

My confusion lies with recent posts indicating this is still 16-17 calendar.
