Title: Orioles Indians trade 1-23-20 7:42 am ET

Orioles get:

CI Neil Walker $3m (2021)
SP Ethan Small $0.5m (P-n/a)
MI Arquimedes Gamboa $0.5m (P-n/a)

Indians Get:

C Eric Haase $0.5m (P-n/a)

Orioles are willing to eat Walker's salary in order to get Small.  Any production that we may get from him this season would just be a bonus.  I have plenty of depth at catcher so losing Haase doesn't really hurt that much.

Indians agree i am rebuilding this team and was looking to move walker for a while know. He is know down to be a partime utility player and wasnt worth to me a roster spot takeing up. I had to give up a young pitcher to get it done. Gamboa i felt wasnt going get a chance to play do to lack of opening spots on his team. In return i a add a former indians catcher i like alot and see him getting a chance mlb roster
