It's no secret that I've been shopping Chris Sale, and while it hurts to see someone as nasty as him leave me team I like the talent I have coming back my way. Normally I wouldn't add so much talent going with Sale but his contract made it necessary to do. Thanks Brent. Always a pleasure :toast:

Astros agree.  I took this team over midway through the 2018 and it was in rough shape, but not too bad as it just needed some attention and direction as a team.  I have been able to add a few batters with Bellinger being the foundation on offense and Cole as the ace, but now I had the chance to add Sale.  I made a shrewd move and bought out Gausman before the books rolled over which freed up cap space that makes a salary dump of a former ace even a possibility.  Buttrey and Lorenzen will join my bullpen and Sale will slide right in behind Cole to anchor my rotation.  I do give up specs that I have refused to move in the past, but their value has increased making a move like this even possible.  Thanks for the negotiations Christian.
