Franchise NHL / Re: FNHL VOTE: 2021-22 CAP 5% DECREASE?« on: September 08, 2020, 01:58:57 PM »
Great to see everyone's active on this vote. When the owners decide to better manage finances and give the cap a chance to actually manage how teams are run instead of throwing profit back into an excuse to raise the ceiling annually, it will create a better league and a more competitive one where every game is interesting right down to the last second of the final game of the regular season.

PPG, thoughts on that nasty Niskanen cross check to the jaw of Gallagher? Broken jaw = 0 penalty.
Personally, shocked the 2 refs Chris Lee and Kyle Rehman blew the call on that injury causing play while calling a BS 5 minute major & game misconduct on the Habs best player in the series, Kotkaniemi. Chris Lee and Kyle Rehman blew the Niskanen broken jaw cross-check. Oh, then the duo failed to call Sean Couturier for blindsiding Has player after an empty net goal. Terrible that Chris Lee and Kyle Rehman are ref'ing in the Stanley Cup playoffs. NHL should review these 2. 2 blown calls that could cost a franchise revenue. Can we start a "Fire Chris Lee and Kyle Rehman" campaign somewhere? That's gross incompetence. 34

Franchise NHL / Re: Franchise NHL - Questions Section« on: August 18, 2020, 01:50:14 AM »Why are goalies so cheap to extend and skaters so expensive? It doesn't seem to align with the actual scoring for this league.I think the recent extension update was about getting caught up with real world contract values for skaters. The goalie extension values were already updated a couple of years ago. Am I missing something? To extend a wing (LW/RW) where do I get the ranking? On Fantrax there are choices of All Skaters C LW RW D G but no Wing. Skaters includes wings and centers tossing the wing ranking off.I understand that LW & RW treated the same for extensions but you still need to find the highest rank possible especially if the player is eligible at both wing positions. 36

Franchise NHL / Re: OPTION 1: FNHL PLAYOFFS PARALLEL LEAGUE 2020-21 (4wks)« on: August 15, 2020, 12:17:00 AM »Even though I'm not in the extended playoffs, I appreciate what you guys do as commissioners to keep everything organized around here. I second that. Great commissioners usually translates into a stable league and great owners. I don't know how things were before I arrived but I see lots of active and knowledgeable people in FNHL playing to win the prize pool annually. Everyone has a different angle on how to get that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in FNHL. Lots of fun. Glad I'm here. PPG & PR setup the playoff site a while ago. It's going to be great. Our rosters are picked up from 2019-20 and won't be impacted by any of the real-time league activity currently going on. It's a brilliant plan that the commissioners were proactive about putting together IMO. I'm in a few league where commissioners have been asleep at the wheel since March 12th. It always feels like we're a few steps ahead of other leagues in FNHL. 38

Fair trade. This one's all about playing potential for both teams. I'm not TC but I'm good with this deal.
