Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Re: Detroit and Montreal Trade Future HOF Defenseman!« on: October 13, 2020, 12:48:27 PM »
I like the Montreal side. Robertson for Reilly plus cash and elc seems pretty tasty for exp draft protection. Picks for Milr swap seems even as well. Leaves Hughes as the sweetener to grease the deal...
Gotta be honest I was shocked to see Hughes fantasy production point total was so low. Replaceable by FA low. Going in I’d have said best player in the deal but perhaps not. I like to see the trading and Reilly’s supporting cast is amazing. Good trade 25

Franchise NHL / Re: DISCUSSION: DECREASE 2021-22 CAP CEILING?« on: October 10, 2020, 06:09:58 PM »has a ton to lose because of this initiative so good for you Morty for initiating this discussion!!! I agree good watching out for competition. We need more ways to fuel rebuilding. Mathematically we have overloaded the scale w 150m coming off via this vote and 300m in player salary increases and then Seattle will eat another 75. We were at maybe 350 headed into FA... maybe this is the sweet spot to force more FAs 30
Franchise NHL / Re: Free Agency starts Oct 5th 0h01ET« on: October 10, 2020, 06:00:06 PM »There were a grand total of 0 top tier free agent D. Should be better next Free agency from what I gather. FNHL has a similar number of active D spots so I suspect you won’t ever strike gold in FA at the blueline. Supply and Demand keeps it limited to bottom pairings and a hopeful 7th man |
