I am overpaying for a 32 year old, but what the heck... It takes an arm and a leg to get superstar players from anyone in DNHL. So Gilly gets an arm and a leg! This helps me win now and that's what I'm looking for. I get a 100 point player that I think puts me in contention for a title while also giving me a little flexibility going into the 14/15 cap decrease since Sedin expires in 13/14. Vancouver gets a proven commodity at the blue line, once healthy; 2 potential future superstars, and 4 draft picks to rebuild his franchise.
