A reminder about minor league transactions:

• A posting must be made to send a player to the minors
• The player must be on a P contract

Once the post is made to the boards, a moderator will handle the transaction.

Can a player be sent to the minors that has exceeded typical AB/IP limits as long as they are on a prospect contract?

Can a player be sent to the minors that has exceeded typical AB/IP limits as long as they are on a prospect contract?

No.  They can remain in the minors if they exceed the limit but cannot be moved from the majors to the minors.
