Canucks do this trade due to massive need to improve its poor minor roster in getting Bergman who one of the top D prospects at the Sharks AHL team, 2nd in D scoring and a 4th round pick. Losing Forbort hurts us for now, but believe Bergman will out produce Forbort in 3/4 years time.
Canucks do this trade to gain that of a 25yr old dman who i believe will get back into Colorado bottom pairing and helps my D, plus safely puts me over the Minimum cap space.
