To the Maple Leafs of Toronto

C Joel Eriksson Ek 2.0 (2016-19 EL)
RW Alex Tuch milr
'17 1st selection Wild by way of Avalanche

Future Economics played a role in this trade Condon is a solid goalie, yet many GMs (real ones) havent figured this out yet. Descent size between the pipes paired with athleticism. Leafs add a young center in Eriksson Ek who is playing back in his homeland after 9 games in the NHL. RW Alex Tuch turned some good numbers at Boston U, now learning the pro game with the Iowa Wild. These talks for a net minder have been on going for at least 3 days or more. Thanks for the talks Indians!

Wild agree I wanted a young goalie I could build my team around and this trade does it. Some people may say I overpaid a little but I wanted him more than my previous goalie. It was hard to lose errickson but to get a goalie I like I had to include him in the trade. And I save a lot of cap to add some more guys to my team

For the record Michael Condon is 26yo while Steve Mason is 28 with close to 10 years as a starter. This is a draw unless Condon earn more starts or becomes the starter for Ottawa (or Vegas) next season at which point Minnesota would Win this trade. Still only a maybe for now.
