But he wasn't part of the Deal what if another GM out bidded you on Gomez and then you couldn't afford him

I have enough money for whatever Gomez goes for, but that doesn't matter.

Like I said, we can redo the deal and add the Gomez part if you'd like?

He owns a 7.4M contract for him, yes.

From what I understand if the season started tomorrow Gomez would not collect points for Montreal because he was bought out meaning Montreal no longer holds that players rights. Which to my understanding you can't trade something that you don't have. I stated my opinion and my mind will not be changed. I don't want to argue  :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: Everyone

If it won't pass, then we will redo it with his contract and have the exact same result.
Gomez is a part of the deal whether you want to think it or not.

Can we PLEASE get more people to vote on this? or new Hockey TC members?
It's been over 2 days and we have like 6 votes.... That's horrible!

Gomez is not switching teams in this trade ... The two teams involved anyways.
This is why the Gomez part is irrelevant to te trade presented to the TC here. That is a whole matter. While it may affect a team's cap space, it is not part of the two teams involved doing the deal.

Sorry Brew.
I understand the situation, but for the TC purposes, we can't factor in the Gomez situation, even if it makes sense.

LIKE I SAID.... If you want us to add him into the deal so that you all can clearly see he is involved, WE WILL!

Suggestion:

IF you still physically OWN him on your roster, do up a revised trade and submit it to the TC for approval.
This msg post is too cluttered now.

Just re-submit your re-worked trade and we'll all review it man, simple as that.

Hope this helps,
Cheers

If the trade is vetoed, I would be more than happy to do that.

However, I believe the vote is 4-3 and there are 1 or 2 people left to vote.

I really don't wanna repost it since this has already taken over 48 hours with no final result.

P.S. sorry if I sounded like jerk, I'm just ticked off that this hasn't past yet...

No worries Brew. I didn't realize there was a trade till I got a PM about TC members not weighing in yet.
I thought somehow all TC members would get a PM regarding a newly posted trade, soon after it is submitted to this board.

But I know how you feel when you make a trade and it sits for a while, so I get your frustration. No hard feelings.

  • dbreer23: Agreed. I think the Devers deal in FGM is a good example of that. Devers gives SD some now (and future) pop, giving up substantial pieces to get him (Mayo, Keith, and one other).

  • Jwalkerjr88: @idsjayhawk i understand that. To be clear, i wasnt judging anyone. I just know in NFL Live, you cant just draft 1-7 rds every year and sign a few FAs and be the champion. It wont happen

  • Brent: Agreed.  I have Amon Ra St. Brown and Aiyuk because I traded JJ.  I couldn't have acquired a player like ASB where I was picking in the 1st so I down tiered at WR to make a trio of Chase, ASB and Aiyuk instead of JJ, Chase and fill in the blank.
  • ldsjayhawk: That is probably even more true in baseball since your drafts don't payoff for 5 years or so.  And I will admit my conservatism may be the reason I only have one championship here at ProFSL

  • Brent: I'm contemplating doing a complete tear down in NFL Live and rebuild.  Honestly, I probably should have postered for it to be this season.  I still might, but I would legit need to go into the draft with 3-4 top 10 picks/+ many others.

  • Brent: postured
  • Jwalkerjr88: Yea nailing drafts and some key FAs helps too. But if you remember BAB you traded alvin kamara for the rams 1-7 draft picks. So the extra picks helped you nail the 2023 draft the way you did
    Yesterday at 03:13:02 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: Its the combination of all three that is required is what im saying
    Yesterday at 03:13:31 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: And brent a tear down with you assets would look interesting. Personally i just think you need break one big asset down into 3 good ones and move carr and go from there. But you have an A1 nfl mind so im sure you will nail whatever it is you decide

  • BayAreaBallers: very good pt yes i did gain lot of capital which propelled me to make more moves from that trade
    Yesterday at 03:34:25 PM
  • Brent: Thank you.  Yes, I agree.  I do need to break one asset down to 3.  I did that with JJ, went from S tier to 2 A tiers.  Now I need to potentially go from an A tier to 3 Bs or something like that.  I've had some inquiries on Carr, but nothing worth moving him.
