Cincinnati Redlegs trade:
Yenier Fernandez, C (LA Dodgers)
Juan Brito, MI (Cleveland)
San Diego Padres trade:
Tommy Troy, MI (Arizona)
Anthony Hall, OF (NY Yankees)
Jaxon Wiggins, P (Chicago Cubs)
It's a trade of promising prospects. Tommy Troy was Arizona's 1st Round Pick and Jaxon Wiggins was the Cubs 2nd Round Pick. Trading Brito, who grades out at 60 (hitting) is no easy task, but the returns make it worthwhile.

:SD: agrees.
Taking on Brito as a nearer-term contributor to my squad, while giving up some upside in Troy.
Thanks for the discussion @davisports !

Approve if Troy and Wiggins pass the 60 day trade test.
-
@Paul S. Is this the clause that you're referring to?
"Item AX B(1)-5.0
Free Agent signings, and players who are extended, cannot be traded until 60 days after they have signed"
Since both players were FYPD draftees, this does not apply to them, right?
Thanks.
-
it does include drafted players so it depends on what date we use for them:
Rule XI Item D: Draft Pick Limitations
Trading of draft picks is not allowed.
The 60-day no trade ruling is extended to include draftees.
-
I've always used the date they were selected.
-
:iatp: pending 60 days from draft date
-
Gotcha - thanks for the clarification.
Troy was drafted on 11/5.
-
I think that this trade can now be processed. Thanks.
