So, how do people go about running their favorite franchises if those were taken when they got into the league? For me, the Angels were the only team available so I took him. However, I hate everything the real life Angels stand for as they have become the Yankees of the west trying to buy a championship by signing every high priced FA. The Cubs tried the samething for awhile, but under the new direction of Epstien I like the direction they are heading. I've been a Cubs fan since I used to tell my Grandpa that Greg Maddux was going to be good if he could ever stop having one bad inning. I just think that there should be something in place for managers to eventually get to run their favorite team should that team come available.

I also don't want to leave the Angels in the middle of their rebuild, but I would also like to run my favorite team. Consider my hat thrown in.

Is anyone else as happy with how the draft has turned out for them as I am? Considering where I picked I'm thrilled with what I've been able to accomplish. With the exception of one player, BRENT, every player I wanted has fallen to me. Two picks left, can't wait!
I must be doing something right then. I am just trying to upgrade the overall talent level of the Angels. They needed a complete rebuild which I am obviously in the middle of. Now when trades open back up, I need to turn hopefully Chris Davis and David Price into lots of nice young pieces.
