We pursued the best Sharks player out there and offered a huge bounty for get Erik Karlsson into a Sharks uniform. This is a great day for our franchise. It wasn't easy giving up the package we did to get this deal done but I feel it's the right move for our team. Boston to confirm.

We're going to roll the dice on veteran winger Gaborik to bring in some points. If things don't work out his contract ends 2019 and it's low risk to add half million in cap for a prospect.
