Dates may be subject to change, should there be a need, but ideally we are sticking with below:

Rookie Draft Begins: Monday November 23rd


RFA and UFA Signing Decisions Deadline: Thursday December 3rd

-I think this is fair amount of time for everyone and makes most sense to be complete before contraction draft and FA.


Free Drop Deadline: Thursday December 3rd

-Should you choose to use and not posted already, same deadline and reasoning as RFA/UFA.


Free Agency Begins: Thursday December 10th 8am EST


Team Captain Naming Deadline: 1 day before season starts (Looking like January 1st, 2021)

-This is late deadline as it really does not impact other moves and while lot of teams posted already technically see no harm to allow last minute should you wish (but keep in mind the later you decide the later you gain the extra cap savings).

  • Braves155: The problem with the minors is not the system as a whole, it is some Farm Systems are more 'elite' at being able to produce talent than others. If you look across MLB teams you can pretty easily tell the great systems from the weaker systems and talent development
