per my PM to tho there's not official rule stating a non-commish owner cannot own a 2nd team it's not something we are doing currently in Franchise NHL.

however, after the completion of the FNHL finals (per existing FNHL rules) owners can apply to transfer to take over ownership of a different team leaving their current team behind. See quote from rules section below...

the buy out team receives a 1-time discount from the 1st time the player is signed as a FA.

if that same player becomes a FA a 2nd time, the most recent team to release the player receives the next FA discount.

March 9th does seem too soon IMO.

so far you are the only 2 teams.
if more teams want to push it back however, the March 9th deadline is set because it gives teams the remaining 2 regular season wks to settle their new players into their roster.

i prefer to leave the deadline as is since it's not detrimental to league play + we're mid-season.

Is Franchise NHL going to follow the NHL's re-alignment craziness? I'm thinking Yes but want to hear it straight from the horse's mouth. LOL
