MINOR LEAGUE ELIGIBILITY

Any player may be placed in the minors at any time, as long as they fall under the requirements. NEW 2020: No minor league player can be placed on IR because their contract does not add to team total salary.

NEW 2023 A hitter must have no more than 200 AB'S.

NEW 2023 A pitcher may have no more than 70 innings pitched or 25 appearances.

A player that is over these limits is not eligible for the Minors.

A minor player listed P-n/a surpasses threshold during the current season remains listed at P-n/a until off season.

ENTRY DRAFT CONTRACTS

Players drafted in the Wild Card Baseball 2 entry draft will be given Prospect Contracts, (P-n/a), and must be placed on a team's MiLB roster.  If there is no roster spots available for a team's picks, for the integrity of the league all picks will be added and it is up to GM to make available space.

There shall be no skip picks and team draft picks can not be traded.

How Draft Will Be Conducted

Draft order: Determination is previous season final regular season standings.

A continuous 12 hour clock will be utilized, with no clock stoppage during the night.  If a team is not present for the draft or is timed out and did not provide a proxy pick, they'll be awarded the next highest ranked signed player, and then placed on auto-draft.

The players ranking list is from Baseball America's Top 500.

Entry Draft eligible players will consist of players who have been drafted and signed an MLB contract.  Those who have not signed have been noted on the Baseball America's Top 500 List provided for the draft.  International players cannot be drafted and will be available during free agency.

The Wild Card Baseball 2 Entry Draft will last 3 rounds starting January 15, 2023

Drafted players cannot be traded/dropped until June 1st.
