To Chicago:
Drew Doughty $5.4m (2019-20)
Peter Cehlarik, N/C (37 games)
To Pittsburgh:
Craig Smith $2.5m (2020-21)
Ryan Lindgren, $1.0m (2019-20)
German Rubtsov, N/C (0 games)
:CHI-NHL: Round 2
:CHI-NHL: Round 5
At 1-7 I don't think I will be winning the Backyard title this year so I am starting to sell off assets to make my team competitive another year. Doughty is a big time deference man that doesn't fit into my timeline to be competitive. So I jumped at the opportunity to add a few really nice assets that better fit my timeline.
Thanks for the deal Vik!! :toast: :toast:

I just want to point out that Peter Cehlarik, N/C (37 games) is now at 40 NHL games played and must be signed to a one-way contract. I hope both teams are aware of that.
From the rules "If a player hits 40 games it is the GMs responsibility to sign the player or release them. If the commissioner comes across a player that has played over 40 games, they will be signed to a 2 year contract based on the above rules. The player will automatically be placed on the major league roster."

Accept. Tough to move Rubstov, but paying up for Doughty who is still elite production on blueline as I try to make another run at cup this year.
I'll sign Cehlarik to 1 year 0.5m contract based on his 3rd round draft postion. Probably ended up waiving to minors once deal approved. He was throw in to help open spot for Pit and I figured I can take flier.
Corresponding move to open roster spot is Paul Byron to IR
