Asking for a 2021 2nd

:DET-NHL: Jared McIsaac, D
(2019: 49D) (2018: N/A)
McIsaac was drafted 36th overall because he is a complete defenseman. Defensively responsible,
a tenacious checker, and he has some offensive upside. That upside was realized – in spades –
over the course of 2018-19. At the WJC he managed just one point in four games for Team
Canada, and was suspended one game for a high hit (a further example of his tenacity). But
when he returned to his junior team in Halifax, he tallied 40 points in 28 games to end the QMJHL
season. In the postseason he stepped up the angry side of his game, picking up 32 PIM (13
penalties) in the first 16 games in leading the Mooseheads to the Final. At 6-1, 191 pounds he will
need to add bulk and strength to play the same kind of game in the pros, but he‟s still only 19
and will have another year of junior to build on that.

Upside Comparable: Tony DeAngelo (10-40-50+, 80+ PIM)
Expected Arrival: Probably 2021-22.
DH Draft Advice: Potential star, draft in late rounds (if you can afford to wait a few years).
