-The Gordie Howe Award (most active on the board)/GypsieDeathBringer. Elliotte Friedman, Bob McKenzie, Darren Dreger ... GypsieDeathBringer. The Mount Rushmore of hockey reporting.-The Ken Holland Award (most outstanding GM)/Capn Cally. I'm probably not qualified to vote on this since I haven't witnessed the last few seasons, but if the Panthers were in the toilet last year then Capn Cally did something right. Judging by the Ducks lineup, which depresses me, Tyler could win this every year. Much respect to Ryan; inheriting and fixing an awful team in a few seasons deserves an award too.-The Wayne Gretzky Award (team w/ best centers) Tavares, Seguin and say no more. Great now and great for many years to come.-The Brendan Shanahan Award (team w/ best left wings) Parise, Benn and give me a break Tyler, go play in another sandbox.-The Jaromir Jagr Award (team w/ best right wings) Stamkos and Tarasenko and is a great one-two punch. Honorable mention to .-The Bobby Orr Award (team w/ best defensemen) Karlsson, Letang and Subban. You need a telescope to see second place on this one. -The Dominik Hasek Award (team w/ best goalies) Other teams have a better top end and are just as deserving, but the Panthers have good depth with good quality.-The Bad Juju Award (most unluckiest team) The Blues had some tough luck. That's a high quality lineup that definitely deserved to make the playoffs. There's no mercy in the Mountain West.
