-The Gordie Howe Award (most active on the board)
Roberto, Snug & Corey are hard to beat in this category

-The Ken Holland Award (most outstanding GM)
I'll weight back in on this one

-The Wayne Gretzky Award (team w/ best centers)
I'll say Philly with Stammer, Geno and Sid

-The Brendan Shanahan Award (team w/ best left wings)
WSH with Ovi, Kuznetsov and Forsberg all LW eligible

-The Jaromir Jagr Award (team w/ best right wings)
LAK  with Kane, Tofolli, McKinnon and Duchesne all RW eligible

-The Bobby Orr Award (team w/ best defensemen)
Hate voting for myself so I wont even though I have 5 in the top 20
I'll say FLA with Subban, Letang and EK

-The Dominik Hasek Award (team w/ best goalies)
DET has #'s 4 & 5 overall hard to argue with that

-The Bad Juju Award (most unluckiest team)
BOS with his fall from grace from Cup final to .400 winning percentage

-The Gordie Howe Award (most active on the board)
I'll give it to the comish this year since there was a ton of roster moves that had to be dealt with because of our impending cap crunch.

-The Ken Holland Award (most outstanding GM)
Has to be Papps.  I don't know if you can see he fleeced folks in his trades, but he definitely came out on top in the "win now" column.

-The Wayne Gretzky Award (team w/ best centers)
Philly has Crosby, Geno and Stamkos.  3 guys who are actual play center (much to the shagrin of 1 of them)

-The Brendan Shanahan Award (team w/ best left wings)
Washington wins with just Ovechkin.  Dude can put the biscuit in the basket like no one else.

-The Jaromir Jagr Award (team w/ best right wings)
Kings are downright filthy with Kane, Toffoli, MacKinnon and Duchene.

-The Bobby Orr Award (team w/ best defensemen)
It'll be Florida for the next 10 years if they keep Karlsson, Letang and Subban

-The Dominik Hasek Award (team w/ best goalies)
St. Louis has Lundqvist, Allen and Bishop.  2 goalies is great, but 3 brings you to the playoffs every year.

-The Bad Juju Award (most unluckiest team)
Detroit's team was a top 6 team with points scored, but fell victim too many times to coming up 1 goal short.  Everyone else can be glad they didn't make it to the big dance.

-The Gordie Howe Award (most active on the board)
:COL-NHL:
As per usual.  A close second for me this year was Chicago.

-The Ken Holland Award (most outstanding GM)
:PHI-NHL:
I still think depth is going to bite this team in the a$$ in these playoffs, but the number of big names on this roster is staggering.  Considering Philly finished 14/15 in dead last, papps should be proud of this squad.

-The Wayne Gretzky Award (team w/ best centers)
:ANA:
Seguin, Bergeron and Tavares.

-The Brendan Shanahan Award (team w/ best left wings)
:WAS-NHL:
Landslide - Ovechkin, Kuznetsov and Forsberg.

-The Jaromir Jagr Award (team w/ best right wings)
:LA:
Another landslide, quality and quantity - Kane, Toffoli, MacKinnon and Duchene.

-The Bobby Orr Award (team w/ best defensemen)
:ANA:
Tyler is rolling out Ekman-Larsson, Muzzin, Giordano, Vatanen and Keith.  That's ridiculous.  Chicago and Florida are pretty good too.  But 5 guys in the top 20 is crazy.

-The Dominik Hasek Award (team w/ best goalies)
:STL-NHL:
Lundqvist, Bishop and Allen.

-The Bad Juju Award (most unluckiest team)
:DET-NHL:
I was hoping Detroit would make the playoffs so that I could vote for myself.  Although, Edmonton's final week probably made them more unlucky than me on a FP vs Wins basis.  But whatever!  I never win awards!  Screw Canada!  But I couldn't vote against Ian here, you got hosed, bro!

-The Gordie Howe Award (most active on the board)
:BOS-NHL: - Hard to beat

-The Ken Holland Award (most outstanding GM)
:PHI-NHL: 22 win increase is incredible.

-The Wayne Gretzky Award (team w/ best centers)
:PHI-NHL: - Crosby, Malkin, Stamkos, Getzlaf, Barkov

-The Brendan Shanahan Award (team w/ best left wings)
:WAS-NHL: - Ovechkin, Kuznetsov, Forsberg

-The Jaromir Jagr Award (team w/ best right wings)
:LA: - Kane, Toffoli, MacKinnon, Duchene.

-The Bobby Orr Award (team w/ best defensemen)
:FLO: - Karlsson, Subban and Letang all top 10

-The Dominik Hasek Award (team w/ best goalies)
:DET-NHL: - Luongo and Anderson are both top 5. Might not have the same names as other, but crazy productive.

-The Bad Juju Award (most unluckiest team)
:DET-NHL: - Strange but true, Detroit finished only 20 fp behind me (because of the last week), and within a point for fp against, and ended up with 7 less wins. Could have easily been me here.

-The Gordie Howe Award (most active on the board)
:BOS-NHL:  Rob is the driving force of the league and I especially appreciated the leadership on some course-correcting rule changes.

-The Ken Holland Award (most outstanding GM)
:PHI-NHL:   Wheeled and dealed, with impressive results.

-The Wayne Gretzky Award (team w/ best centers)
:ANA:  I'm partial to the Seguin, Bergeron, Tavares 1-2-3 punch.

-The Brendan Shanahan Award (team w/ best left wings)
:WAS-NHL:  No contest with Ovechkin, Kuznetsov, Forsberg.

-The Jaromir Jagr Award (team w/ best right wings)
:LAK:  Don't mind voting for my Kings here since I had little to do with it.  I inherited all of Kane, Toffoli, MacKinnon, Duchene, Oshie and J. Williams, who are all top 30 RW's this year; I just had to have enough sense to hold onto them and watch them have better years than last year.

-The Bobby Orr Award (team w/ best defensemen)
:ANA:  I like Anaheim's quality depth of five top 20 guys in Ekman-Larsson, Muzzin, Giordano, Vatanen and Keith by a whisker over Florida's big three of Karlsson, Letang and Subban.

-The Dominik Hasek Award (team w/ best goalies)
:STL-NHL:  I'll give the edge to the St. Louis trio of Lundqvist/Bishop/Allen trio over Detroit's Anderson/Luongo duo.

-The Bad Juju Award (most unluckiest team)
:DET-NHL:   Looking at FP-for and FP-against, Detroit could have easily finished anywhere in the range of 3rd to 6th instead of 11th.

Give the commish Rob some props.
Also the GDB for the updates and write-ups are cool.
Snug also in the mix.
If I had to pick, I do enjoy the rankings, team updates and all that stuff from Corey.

-The Ken Holland Award (most outstanding GM)
Gotta go with Philly here. It's Florida 2.0 going from last to big time contender.
Just shows how quickly a "rebuild" can be... 1 year for me (1 and a bit when I took over it was almost the end of the season) and 1 year or even less than a full year I think for Philly.

-The Wayne Gretzky Award (team w/ best centers)
Gotta say with the trades, now it has to be Philly with #87 and #71 in Pittsburgh and the next Maple Leaf captain in Stamkos (haha). Oh and Getzlaf who finally remembered how to score goals versus an NHL goalie. That Barkov kid isn't bad either as a 5th option (shouldn't have traded him!). And they all actually play center most of the time too. Oh and Logan Couture has C elig. as well. Been injured but we'd all love to have a healthy Couture on our team, let's be honest.
Ducks are very solid especially with Bergeron having a great season, but Tavares hasn't been as dominant as predicted this year... And Sid is actually doing something in the 2nd half, plus Getzlaf is scoring goals now in the 2nd half too which are weighted more than assists... So those guys are more dangerous I think than the Ducks trio. Pretty close though, more so if Benn had C elig. again this year.

-The Brendan Shanahan Award (team w/ best left wings)
Washington based on position eligibility although I think only one actually plays LW for real these days, OV... Ovechkin, Kuznetsov, Forsberg.
Like someone said, OV alone gets the team in the conversation! Burakovsky is a nice up and comer as well.

-The Jaromir Jagr Award (team w/ best right wings)
LA Kings here as some others have said, but again going with who is eligible, although most of them actually do play RW most of the time.... Kane, Toffoli, MacKinnon and Duchene. And Oshie too. And Justin Williams who's doing well fantasy-wise if you consider him a 5th option!

-The Bobby Orr Award (team w/ best defensemen)
Even though I have a solid top-3, there is a huge drop off after those 3... Karlsson is dirty, no doubt about that, but Letang was injured on what, 4 or 5 different occasions? Haha. And Subban has tainted my view of him lately when he's trying to freaking pirouette around multiple players when he's the last man back...I think he's cost his team 3 games in the past 2 weeks with horrible turnovers. Anyone else than PK and he'd be in the press box still! I thought a couple years ago Justin Schultz would bolster that trio and even Jared Spurgeon, but he didn't do so well this year.
OEL, Muzzin, Gio, Vatanen and Keith is extremely solid for fantasy, especially considering we have 5 D spots...Never have to waver on who to sit/start out on Saturday nights when everyone is playing!

-The Dominik Hasek Award (team w/ best goalies)
Three horses are better than two... So St.Louis takes this one for me. Especially since goalies go for a crazy premium, having 2 legit studs (KingH, Big Ben) plus a "throw in third" in Jake Allen.

-The Bad Juju Award (most unluckiest team)
Not sure on this one as I honestly didn't pay attention or know the rosters as well as some of you, but seems like Detroit is the consensus.
And, it's weird to see izaman not in the playoffs here, since he turned a terrible terrible terrible team in QLS into a top contender in a single season!

-The Gordie Howe Award (most active on the board) - :CAR-NHL:

Gypsie's write ups and commentary give a boost to this already great league. I give him the edge over Snug just because Snug is usually talking about nothing...

-The Ken Holland Award (most outstanding GM) - :FLO:

Florida is still at the top of the league and will be for a while. This year is nothing compared to when he actually overhauled this team, but still. Florida is a top team with a bright future.

I get why people are saying Philly but that team has too many stars, no depth, and no cap space. I give it to Philly for this year, but it's a dynasty league and I want to see how to roll over to next year.

-The Wayne Gretzky Award (team w/ best centers) - :ANA:

Why did I ever trade away Tavares? Who knows, but now is is part of an incredible 1-2-3 punch in Anaheim

-The Brendan Shanahan Award (team w/ best left wings) - :WAS-NHL:

Wingers are hard to determine because I go back and forth between thinking about who the actual best LWs and who has the best players that are LW eligible. This is fantasy, its eligibility makes fantasy players valuable and Washington has 3 great fantasy eligible LWs in the top 20 of scoring.

-The Jaromir Jagr Award (team w/ best right wings) - :LAK:

Again, here LA has 3 great fantasy eligible RWs in the top 20 of scoring.

-The Bobby Orr Award (team w/ best defensemen) - :CHI-NHL:

I'm going to go away from consensus and say Chicago here. I love depth and they have 6 d-men in the top 50 where Anaheim has 5, and Florida only has 3...

-The Dominik Hasek Award (team w/ best goalies) - :STL-NHL:

Easy choice here. If Allen would have stayed healthy all year it would have been an easier choice...

I won't give up on Howard though...I want him to get traded and start somewhere besides Detroit.

-The Bad Juju Award (most unluckiest team) - :DET-NHL:

How can it be anyone other than me? I can't believe this. Detroit missing the playoffs... It almost made me want to implode my team. I didn't do anything at the trade deadline because I didn't know whether to buy or sell... Oh whoa is me...

Watch out next year boys  :koolaid:

Very lazy but I agree with above post.

Thanks to all of you for making this a great league.

Onwards' at least for me, to next season.

Cheers
