Predators Trade:
D Kieth Yandle, $2.6m (2023-2024)
:NAS: pays 0.3m this year
D Aidan Hreschuk, $0.6m (R)
:TOR-NHL: 2023 6th
This is mainly a salary cap move for me as I finally get under cap. Yandle's best days behind him and FA at the moment but can take a flier and see where he lands. Hreschuk has some long term intrigue and helped seal deal.

Predators agree to the deal.
We are having to rework the roster after having so many FAs go. Smith will add a quality RW option for the next 2 years. Moving Yandle's contract helps to keep Smith a little more team friendly over the same period of time.
