I feel we had to pay up to get J.F.Berube back into the fold. His buyout contract is on our books and we will have to address that soon. Steep price but he's a goalie that can contribute games so it was the price demanded of us and we are paying to get it done. Montreal to confirm.

I feel I'm getting great value immediately for a 4th overall pick that might or might not help this season. Kings get to address our defence immediately with this trade by adding veterans Seabrook and Forbort while Mikeal Backlund will add a lot more scoring. Kings are in better shape with this move and also complete some pre-FA shopping. Good talks Jack!

Really liking the package coming to LA and the key is young gun Travis Sanheim who's only 22yo and super talented along with raising star center Akil Thomas who will do some serious damage in the NHL one day soon.
