Chuck Fletcher Award (best trade)
- Goes to Toronto for picking up Rinne which could be a franchise changing trade next season. In no way was this a bad move by Nashville as they picked up 2 early picks in the draft and two good young players

The worst trade came down to these three for me.
This trade was done just prior to the entry draft last year. It is a good trade for Vancouver if the players were still on their team and I still would have liked to have Schneider as a starting goalie at 2m for 2 years.
http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=60702.0 This trade was good at the time but now I would much rather have Luongo who should get traded and become a starter in the off-season. Lindback has been relegated to a backup role with acquisition of Bishop by
. Calgary also received Edler but gave up a top defensive prospect in Murphy and likely won't retain Edler into next season. This trade just ended up not working out due to actions in the NHL.
http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=88221.0 Moving out 4 goalies in a deal will ultimately get you considered for this award. 1 of the two Minnesota goalies should be a start in the next 1 to 2 years due to the age of Backstorm and the health of Harding. Couple that with the 3 solid prospects given in Cerevanka, Foligno, and Chiasson along with an upper round pick. Philly did get Crawford but at one heck of a price especially since Crawford has been the 20th overall goalie since the trade.

for The Glen Sather Award as that trade just didn't work out for them.
