I'm not sure why no one has noticed but I just did today, why has Arizona been allowed to carry extra players on their fantrax roster?  Was a transaction missed somewhere?

I work nights and was unable to post my reply to the voting request till this morning. Which correctly is past the 72 hour window.

I'm not against trying to throw my weight around here but if it helps as being the only original owner in the league left,  it looks to me as the league has spoken and believes this trade should pass.

The third veto does not count, you have to post a reason.  According to the rules

"Any veto must provide a detailed, factually based basis for that veto.  Reasons for a veto would include but are not limited to factors such as statistical comparison, contract status, age, injury history, talent level, organizational makeup, past trade history, and/or collusion."

Therefore that veto doesn't count.  If we are not following the rules all hell breaks loose.

Did anyone read the other two vetoes??????  They contradict one another.  One says the mets did not get enough, the other says miami.  What does that mean????
This means both are getting screwed and both are taking advantage of the other.  Makes sense, which equals a

In theory yes that would be a good rule but it all depends on how one spends their salary cap.  MLB doesn't really have a cap.  Also teams have signed players up that would normally fill a roster spot and teams next year could not field a full roster.  They have to fill their roster with minor leaguers otherwise they will not accumulate points for the week.

Really no votes in the 48hr window,lol.  Everyone who voted for the Tigers/Giants trade has been on since the trade was posted other than haseloff. The trade should pass

"If there are no vetoes within 48 hours of the trade being officially recorded by agreement and reasoning provided by all trade parties then the trade will pass."

Cardinals make this trade to bolster their lineup.  Gee hopefully will make it back next year or if injury hits the mets this year and betancourt is a nice prospect.
A's get depth to an injury and seemingly AAA lineup with the ability to call up from their minor league system.

  • Braves155: Been starting to get into these older games that originally ran off DOSBOX for those who know what I'm talking about. The idea is you build your team with a salary of XXX and then every 2-3 seasons you have decisions to make. Field a 26 man roster, control your own pitching rotation, pen, lineup & bench like the true MLB. Draft every season where there's a lot of turnover. Interesting for sure.
