For the 2015 season we will be changing the format of the rosters slightly. The changes will revolve around the the set up of the 40man roster. The changes are being made to streamline the upkeep of the rosters.
We will move to a 40man active roster.
Players currently on the Additional 40man will no longer be required to hold a minor league spot.
Only the lowest level of the minors will have a roster limit of 30, AAA and AA will remain 24 while all other levels will be 25. This is done keep the roster size at 243.
I will begin the changes with teams no longer in the playoffs.
