Title: Flyers- Canucks do a deal

Flyers receive:
D Keith Ballard, $4.2m (2014-2015)

Canucks receive:
C Vincent Lecavalier, $7.7m (2018-2019)
Flyers will pay $2m in 2014-2015

Flyers are happy to get rid of Vinnys contract.  He is still a productive 20 goal scorer but I can't justify paying him that much.  Anything more than a bag of pucks was fine with me to deal him.

I got to much defense. I cant be bothered waiting on Ballard any longer.

I hate Vinnys contract but like his production and my team is the landing zone for bad contracts, I deal with them one year at a time.

Papps is going to edit with appropriate cap needed....and yes you should have approved and than league given me 24 hours to clear space had we not fixed this anyways....reason being is Im not going to drop guys to hopefully get approved by the TC

i would just think post the move as part or on condition of the trade going through..
i just thought there was something within the rules that say no team can ever be over cap...

I thought it was in the rules too. I guess I'll have to look at that. Still it's reasonable criteria to evaluate a trade on.

I approve. Just don't abandon that team when you're in cap jail next year :-)

LOL I would never abandon any team, I will be okay next year, Im very very crafty :)

I didn't mean it bad about how he evaluated the deal and I do agree that I can or we should put in our trades...if approved will buy out or release and or whatever!!
