:DET-NFL: sends:

2024 1st round pick 15

to :PIT-NFL: for

WR Josh Palmer $7M 2024 than $2M 2027

Detroit makes this trade to get a talented wide receiver to add to a group that doesn't have much going on right now. Dorsett, Hamler, and Brownlee as my starting receivers = moves need to be made. Steelers to confirm, thanks @Mt_Crushmore.

Detroit confirms, adding two more building blocks for our young talented defense. We also clear more cap space so we can be aggressive in free agency.

LB Roquan Smith $17.5M 2026

to  for:

LB Tyrel Dodson $3M 2025

TE Adam Trautman $2M 2026

2024 Second Round Pick 26

Detroit Lions back at it again today. Moving Roquan for a younger/cheaper LB, getting another second rounder, and adding a young TE gives us the flexibility to pursue options in the draft and free agency. Saints to confirm. Good talks @Brent.

Hurts to lose Jeffers, especially in divison, but we're going to build up our stable of young arms and hope for the best.

Thanks! @Benw

Lions confirm. This is a proud moment for me, my first transaction as a GM of these Detroit Lions. I look forward to the future as we set our sights for great things moving forward. Moving Etienne was never going to be easy, but I am very pleased with the return as we look towards the upcoming draft.

Best of luck @Jwalkerjr88!

  • Jwalkerjr88: Idk if anyone remembers the 2021 class but it was weak on offense outside or the top 10-15. I dont regret the deal just learned and move on. As long as you have assets, you can mold your build how you want. Picks are usually the most valuable asset because most gms want in on a draft.

  • Daddy: ProFSL has to be established by having great product or at least different product. We had the same old members. "Get off my lawn" types wanting to run leagues that were identical to the others. If you want 100 of the same old guys never chatting and no guests on the site. We had how many years of that?
