They can stay on a minor league roster as long as the team wants to keep them there.

Once called up to the NHL Roster, they can't be sent back down.

I think it's fine to allow extensions right up until the season starts.

Just no in-season extensions to take advantage of a slumping player or a guy who gets injured in game 1 and misses 30 games.

If you want to bet on a player out performing his current re-sign value, that's entirely up to you!

Canucks looking to bolster the D at a position of strength at LW with plenty of dual LW eligible players available.
Eriksson is a Canuck so a homer play, but unlikely he does much this season (could be in the AHL to begin the year)

  • Braves155: The problem with the minors is not the system as a whole, it is some Farm Systems are more 'elite' at being able to produce talent than others. If you look across MLB teams you can pretty easily tell the great systems from the weaker systems and talent development
