An 82 game schedule in FNHL could make for some really interesting team records. If your team sucked you could end up with a 4-78 record and get beat down several times a wk instead of just once.

It seems like it would amplify results. That's good and bad.
Put another way a team could end up in a deep hole after only 3 weeks.

It's a great idea. The Blues didn't play a few top teams last year and that really shouldn't happen. I'm in favour 100%, a few leagues I'm in right now do this and it actually makes it more interesting playing multi teams per week.

I does sound interesting. I will dig on Fantrax and see what it means.

To create a schedule weighted toward Conference and Division matchups would that have to be done manually or push a button on Fantrax?

Yes BB it would have to be entered manually. Each matchup painstakingly 1 at a time. However once inputted once this can be auto set to carry over each season. My suggestion...we use last years exact schedule for each club. Once inputted, it is there forever.

Someone(s) then got to input the schedule. (Assigning at least one person to post the schedule onsite in a thread individually starting at week one, and a fantrax designated  inputter(s) building the schedule. I did this for a baseball league simulating 100+ games.

We can do this if the league wants it.

I think its got legs Daddy! Good idea to make sure each team plays all 29 other teams and still have a sched weighted toward Div matchups.

I would be fine going with this new sched format this Fall. Its not a rule change but a better way of determining the top teams who should challenge for the Cup next Spring.

Have you given thought to a mechanism for forgiving violations? It would be nice if they could be eventually forgiven, say at a rate of one per year for good behavior.
