There's only 5 weeks left in the regular season and the playoff races are heating up! :taco: :taco: :taco:
I don't think we can count anyone out at this point. Of course :EDM: needs to stop using MiLR players without an official call up and Entry Level contract signed or they'll just keep losing weekly. But the West is wide open in terms of playoff spots. :PHO: and :DAL-NHL: can lock up a spot easily. Even the :CLG: and :VAN: have a shot.
The East looks tighter. Teams are neck and neck over on the darkside! LOL

Surprised to see :NYR: in there especially as the 4th seed but then again not completely surprised they've been competitive.
Same for :CBJ: and even :LA:
Not surprised to see :BOS-NHL: in the thick of it. :disco: :rofl:

Actually surprised :TBL: :PHI-NHL: :CAR-NHL: :WAS-NHL: :NAS: :DAL-NHL: arent holding down a spot currently but plenty of time for that to change I guess. :thumbsup:

I gotta say my Cats have dropped in the standings with the recent loss of Harding and Luongo, but Bobby's back and we should be in better shape for the remaining weeks. :thumbsup:
* I like what :ANA: :WIN: :STL-NHL: :NYR: :CLS: and :NYI: have done!
* Agree with you PPG re Snug but I've posted a number of standings posts so he can follow his work :thumbsup:
* :WIN: :STL-NHL: are scary out West.
* My concerns are :DET-NHL: :TOR-NHL: :OTT: :NYI: and :BOS-NHL: out East. Well pretty much every team in the Eastern Conference is a serious threat!

I'd say :CHI-NHL: :STL-NHL: and :MIN-NHL: are the big threats from out West. All 3 guys have great goalies and fire power up front.

My Sens have had a similar problem with Holtby sitting most nights since early December. Hopefully he gets more starts now that Grubauer has been sent back to the A.

I'm thinking Grubauer might be back sooner than later after he gets straightened out in the AHL. Look at Martin Jones in LA. Shooters figured him out and after a quick fine tuning stint in the A he was recalled after Benny boy got dealt to Edmonton.

Fair assessment. Though I like the Martin example since I own him here in FNHL but I own Holtby and not Grubauer so that won't help me. I knew I should've scooped him up when Grubauer was available. :soapbox:
