with the Salary Cap coming down to 64.3m from 70.3m, teams will need to be more creative to move a big contract this off-season.

lots of teams also have space to offer buy out assistance to teams in need of cap relief.

Ok, my ice hockey holiday is now over.
Jets will move any of the following for top picks and solid players with a lower salary:

Joe Pavelski, $4.0m (2013-2014)
Patrick Marleau, $6.9m (2013-2014)
Mike Ribeiro, $5.1m (2014-2015)

Bryzgalov is also available... :soapbox:

I am pretty much open to all trade discussions, just drop a PM and let's the trade discussions begin.

EDIT: Added Patty Marleau. Stepan also still available, but consider the price a lot higher.

:SJ: San Jose Sharks are fielding offers for veteran powerplay quarterback and stud defenseman Dan Boyle, $6.7m (2013-2014).

If you need scoring on defense this guy will help immediately.

Ottawa has veteran Daniel Alfredsson available for a young player or prospect in return.

Alfie will be getting a reasonable $3.7 Million 3 year extension so as long as your team has cap space.

Alfredsson is now a member of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings.
A great player to add at a very affordable $3.7 Million.

Ottawa Management is waiting for your offers.

  • Jwalkerjr88: It was dallas. I think he missed the playoffs that year. Then used the draft picks on the 2021 class. Every pick was the 32nd pick (dont remembee what the other 1st became)
  • Jwalkerjr88: Idk if anyone remembers the 2021 class but it was weak on offense outside or the top 10-15. I dont regret the deal just learned and move on. As long as you have assets, you can mold your build how you want. Picks are usually the most valuable asset because most gms want in on a draft.
