After a seven month hiatus into the land beyond fantasy sports, a longtime ProFSL veteran has emerged from the clouds to re-join FGM as the new owner of the :NYM:  Please welcome back Reid B. (Orange Country) as a "new" league member.

Marlins have hired a new GM

As many of you know, the Marlins have been teetering because of a lack of attention and participation.  After some assurances, the former GM was given a chance to show a willingness to be more proactive, but since those pledges were made, there has been no active participation.  So, unfortunately, that created a dilemma for the league.

All of us know that sometimes real life takes precedence over fantasy sports, and none of us question the importance of taking care of personal interests above all else.  As a league leader, the issue is nothing more than what's best for the continued success of Franchise GM.  So, the decision has been made to stop trying to get more participation from someone by prodding, prying, and extolling.  In the best interests of all concerned, a change is required and a change has been made.

Please welcome a longtime member of the ProFSL community as the new GM of the Miami Marlins, Joseph T. (firemanx).  Joseph joined ProFSL in 2012 and we are pleased to have him in FGM.
