I am fighting for a league championship in 2020 and you did ruffle my feathers by out bidding me for SP Josh Fleming for what you said was a dead Toronto team that not even dead. I see now it is Atlanta franchise that is dead. Anyway, true or false, should we not fight for a championship if given the chance?
Go ahead and fight, but let’s not play the game of semantics and try and cloud the issue with meaningless rhetorical questions.
When you write a poison post and then say “I will finish this season but probably not return in 2021.” To me, as a league moderator, that is a declaration that you are leaving. Everyone is here of their own free will. If someone is threatening to leave, regardless of the reason, then it’s a signal that such a threat will probably surface again and it’s better to part company because it’s obviously not a good fit.
We have disagreements in this league, defend our positions, and we sometimes hurt some feelings, but no one ever threatens to leave. You made such a threat and it was not made in jest. I explained why I was bidding on Josh Fleming and you seemed to understand, then you changed your tone and said you’re probably not going to return in 2021. That was a declaration that you are quitting.
