I'm assuming that the rule as written means 60% off of the normal salary... Otherwise wouldn't the rule say 40% off instead of 60% off?

$5.6m would be 60% OF the normal contract, no? (and not OFF the normal contract?) I'm confused overall haha.

Otherwise, if I (you) would have re-signed Lindor last year with 1 year still left on the prospect contract, you would get him at 50% off instead of 40% off (9.3 x 0.5 = 4.65 -> $4.7m per year instead of the $5.6m you stated).

Either way I don't really give a sh1t since I have a sh1t-ton of cap space. The rule as written is very confusing though.
