Im carolina, I cant make lineup changes in fantrax?

can't say i know what the problem is though sometimes i notice fantrax is slow to load the  team pg.

i did see other teams updating their rosters since you've posted so try again, try a different browser. if that fails, try logging out then log back in. if all else fails, notify fantrax support.

is there anyway we can get a list of the current upcoming FA's or all players on final year of their contract?  It would be interesting to track kind of like Tsn's free agent frenzy.

since i'll be away for portions of the summer,  i'm looking at just after the September Labour Day (Canadian Holiday) weekend.

Tentative start of Franchise NHL Entry Draft will be Wednesday September 4, 2013 @ 0h01 ET.

this will ensure ppl are turning into hockey with training camps under way and doesn't overlap with FNHL's Free Agency period which starts July 11, 2013 and usually lasts 1-month. in fact we might just push back the start of free agency given my summer schedule. TBC by the end of the playoffs here in Franchise NHL.

Here are the rules:

Extensions:  Teams may offer players extensions at any time with the exception of the start of the season when teams must wait 14-days (the player extension can be posted on the 15th day after the start of the season) for current season's stats to accumulate and be used to rank players.  Contract value must be equal to or higher than the highest ‘position ranking’ within the past two seasons (including the current season).  If a player has two positions, the contract must be equal to, or greater than, the higher salary of the two positions.  Extensions must still follow contract rules regarding contract length. 

Only players in the final year of their current contract are eligible for extensions.  All contract extensions begin immediately (with the exception of the off-season period when the current year's contract must expire prior to the new contract taking effect) and replace current contracts. 

Prospects can be signed to extensions in the final year of their deal. But the rates will follow normal extension rates.

So if my Sens sign Staal to an extension after the Finals his extension only begins in 2013-14 right? I want to make sure before posting anything.

in FNHL, as soon as the last game of the Finals is over (start of the Off-season) you can sign players to an extension and the new deal kicks in only when contracts roll-over... this yr it will be on August 11 @ 0h01 ET.
