I was looking over the trades that impacted my teams and have to say the Ales Hemsky trade from Edmonton to Ottawa has really given my Sens a boost. Hemsky has been red hot since that deal and posting multipoint games. I'm loving it especially for my Sens Play-off chances.

there weren't too many deadline deals in the NHL this year due to the lower cap situation.
but there was a small deal that has helped active a player on my roster who was toiling in the AHL for Chicago. Brandon Pirri getting dealt from Chicago to Florida helped get me another active Center. He's no fantasy stud but he's good depth for my playoffs drive.

None!
My Bruins got no boost from NHL deadline day deals. But no matter. We dont need help.

Actually my Flames got a decent shot in the arm when Bryzgalov was dealt from EDM to MIN, Berra was shipped off to COL from CGY making Ortio a starter, and Nick DesLauriers was sent to BUF from LA turning him from a farm hand to a 2nd line winger if not a 1st after Stewart went down for the rest of the season.
I love trade deadline day in the NHL! :disco: :taco:
