Title: Inactive Teams
Post by: papps on September 12, 2014, 08:43:41 PM
Looking around the league its unfortunate we have a lot of inactive teams.  We have one team that hasn't even signed in all season.  There are others that haven't been on in months.  I totally understand about being busy as I'm in working, in school full time, and I am expecting a baby in a few weeks but if you don't have the time then you don't have the time.  I think we need to look around and do some heavy recruiting and replace some inactive managers.  This is a great league but I think its getting a little stale with the same 10 GM's that are always active.  What do the rest of you think?

Chris, I agree. I have a list of teams I wanted to replace with shooters permission after the playoffs

Are the teams/GMs in question inactive on this board and Fantrax--or just on this board?  I know there was a time in my early days in the league when I checked the board but never felt inclined to post anything.

Just wondering...... :afro:

There are a few that are only fantrax active.

Some are both

Majority of people oncfantrax were active until the playoffs. 2 teams that haven't been active since June and July are Colorado and Minnesota.

Houston hasn't signed into the site all season.

I am all for replacing the deadwood.  As the flagship league on ProFSL, this league should be the best of the best in terms of activity IMO.

I know we've replaced other GMs in the past, but do we have an established process to do so?  With the Indians, we know Reid can no longer participate because of personal commitments, but do we have a process for replacing GMs we deem to be inactive?  Is it simply a league leadership responsibility or something else?  Just want us to steer clear of any "drama" if possible.

I know that a while back there was criteria for removing inactive GMs. "Jake" use to monitor.

I agree, inactive GMs that don't log in to both fantrax/profsl should be replaced.
