Mind you goalies are expensive nowadays. You'll need to be a rich guy like e40  to carry a half dozen LOL

I resent that post.

I don't recall but I didn't have a starting goalie but could be wrong prior to the beginning of last season. Therefore I only paid that much for Ramo since prior to last season he had so much hype and was hoping he lived up to that hype/potential. If Andersen can take over #1 and play up to his potential over a full season or even if it is a combo of him and Gibson if called up and how he does or them together, I will definitely consider dropping or trading Ramo depending on his situation during the season with Montoya as my backup.

I don't see this mentioned in the rules, so I figured I would ask. With the extra ir spot you gain from placing a player on ir, does the players salary count against your salary cap? I don't understand the point of ir if you cannot sign players to one year deals.

Player salary still counts but you clear a roster spot.

when someone wins a player you drop, the amount per year they are paying the player is deducted from your buy-out.

ex. you drop Crosby and pay 5.5M(2017-18) buyout cost.  someone wins Crosby in FA for 7M(2017-18) , then you would not have any cap hit, as 7 > 5.5

So if you overpay for someone in fa, you can drop them and potentially get all the cap back.

Not sure if this has already been addressed. I was looking at my past 3 weeks and noticed I have illegal rosters ( a lot of teams did especailly week #2) and my wins in week 1 and 3 were changed. Hoping this is just an error as error. I am on daily so know its not a line up setting issue.

I had a lot of my points taken away from me this week cause there is a glitch somewhere, and I know I had 30 something points earlier in the week. Another glitch I found was when I tried to set McMillan as a lw but it keeps saying that my roster is illegal.

It apparently happened when they were trying to finalize draft. We are a paid league, so hopefully fantrax takes care of us. My caps were about to be 3-0 easily, and now show 11 points on the year.
