we've looked at possible goalie rule changes over the past 30-days and 1 thing was clear, there wasn't an appetite for too much change + 1 key change appeared to be acceptable. refer to discussion thread

Proposed Rule Change to be Voted on:
Starting 2013-14 FNHL will reduce starting goalies from 2 to 1.
This means teams can only have 1 active goalie per day versus the current setup of using 2 active goalies daily.
Guidelines:
* Teams vote "YES - in favor of" or "NO - not in favor"
* Teams have 30-days (starting 0h01 ET Sept22 thru 23h59 ET Oct21.)
* Require minimum 21-of-30 teams to vote for the result to be valid
* Teams must post their vote in this thread (public vote).

:FLO: votes Yes - in fav of using 1 active goalie starting 2013-14.
this should help balance league play and reduce some of the heavy focus on goalie scoring and salaries which has negatively impacted FNHL play imo.

- We have daily lineup changes in this league, right?
Ex. We change our starting lineups each day to reflect the NHL teams that are playing that day, and the players on those teams?
For some reason I was under the impression this was a weekly lineup league. Which, in all sports and settings I find completely ridiculous and stupid - Sorry if this league is in fact one of those. What's the point of that type of league?

i believe we'll move fwd with this revision for the 2013-14 season. 2/3 voting Yes is a strong indication.
