WESTERN CONF FINAL 4
:STL-NHL: lots of improvements over summer and looks stronger!
:ANA: The freak kows how to win!
:COL-NHL: super quick rebuild and bound for conf semis
:WIN: always fields a tough team
EASTERN CONF FINAL 4
:BOS-NHL: championship core intact and plugged some holes
:PHI-NHL: overhauled, lean lineup of all-stars except Defense is suspect
:DET-NHL: so active hes bound to find the right combo to go deep into playoffs
:TOR-NHL: improved their roster during offseason

:CAR-NHL: is on this list of next up and has no starting G. My :EDM: didn't make the cut with 2 starting G in Smith and Kuemper lol.

Im finding it tough to love your oilers Jonathan! There are some good skaters but those pther teams out west have more. Anyway Canes are in the East so you can compare your oilers to them

I hear ya, I just know without a #1 G, chances are very slim.

Yeah thats true too but canes have those specs that can be big scorers or busts like Johnny Gaudreau.

My :PHI-NHL: have no D or depth so I'm crossing my fingers that all my players stay healthy LOL. Knowing my luck Stamkos will collide with Giroux and they will both be out six months! :doh:

I'm glad to see someone is excited for my team cause 1/3rd of my roster is not playing in the NHL to start the season lol. I don't like my chances this season, but I really like the direction I am taking this team. If I can get lucky with Forsberg and Kinkaid, I should be solid.

Vancouver has no depth but I do have a great Goalie in Fleury and a couple of good scorers in St Louis and Hossa and Sedin.Pretty good Def in Edler,Hamhuis and Kronwall.
Don't know if I can hang with top teams but will give it a shot LOL

It looks like of the 4 teams I am owner of this one will probably be the only team in the playoffs at this point. I definitely am happy to have hired hockeyfreak and the team is his for years to come if he still wants to gm it for me every year.

A lot can happen before the trade deadline on February 18th to alter standings in the final 4 weeks of the regular season.

of course anything can happen in the playoffs. so many key injuries the last 2 yrs in the NHL.

Just like real life, who is hot? But the points difference between the top 3 and rest of league is eye popping.
