  • halo99: I don't see anything black and white about a grace period on a trade so I assume it's invalid...maybe it should be spelled out clearly in the rules and that would avoid this

  • Jonathan: Only 1 other guy has had 9 goals in first 5 games last 20 yrs. Ovechkin now and Marleau from a few years ago. Weirdest part with Marleau, is it was the only year he missed significant time whole career, ended up with only 14 goals all year.
    October 14, 2017, 03:03:57 PM
  • Jonathan: 2012-13 it was 17G 14 A in 48 games.
    October 14, 2017, 03:04:40 PM
  • Jonathan: Also ironic that Ovechkin only played 48 games in 2012-13, and only year he missed time. He did still score 32 G in those games.
    October 14, 2017, 03:07:10 PM
  • Jonathan: yeah, memory is starting to work, that was the great strike. Nonetheless Marleau did also score 9 times in first 5 games that year.
    October 14, 2017, 03:08:31 PM
  • Jonathan: season didnt start until January that year.
