Post by: whiteghost on October 28, 2017, 11:22:55 AM
Hey, just wondering when we might get an update? I know everyone is busy, just curious!

Thanks,
Rob

Will be trying soon, trying to keep on top of fantrax transactions for most part then will do a mass roster update when I get the time.

When do you think we will be able to have a roster PROFSL update?

Thanks

I will also try to keep up with fantrax more often. Will try to do it within 24-48 hours of transactions being posted.

I am still waiting. Its been over 2 months that my team has been updated, and it reduces my effort when I have no clue what is going on. I think I need to take Zajac off, but its been so long that he was placed on IR for 2 months and still shows as a regular guy on my team.

I have a PDF file on my computer and a notepad note on my phone telling me how my team looks. I know drew and tony committed to keeping up with the league, but they are doing this for free. It does take a lot of time to update contracts, web pages, checking math, and still run their ow teams.  I have tried doing it myself and wound up quiting because of how hard it was for me to keep up.

So if this is information you need right now, take the time to figure it out.

I already run leagues. I do it for free too.

Then you know it's not easy and it is time intensive. Last time I remember, drew is also in school and has a couple of kids, and tony is in school.

Tell him to give it to me. This is easy work that takes 30 minutes at most every other week. I work 50 hours and go to school too. No point in even posting rosters if they never get updated.

i think this might be a good idea. Let’s see what Drew’s thinks.

I don’t do any ProFsl roster updating.

Working through 1 team at a time, going to be more proactive with the roster updates and do ProFSL at the same time as fantrax and not let them pile up.

My fault again guys, but thanks for keeping Backyard as competitive as ever!

And yes life (1 kid and another on the way in February, teaching full-time and coaching after schools, kid is beginning her own sports so having to run around after those, trying to keep ProFSL as a whole afloat along with a few others) and the fact I only have internet when I am working makes it hard to get these things done as cell phone is not a good method to update rosters. I will do better though and learn to manage the time I have.
