Mike0542 is a Flyer fan so I guess PPG figures he's a hockey guru. :P He looks like he likes a good rebuild based on the other leagues he's been in... well Montreal is a great club for that. :thumbsup:
Montreal has finished 24th (2010-11), 18th (2011-12), 19th (2012-13) and 17th (in 2013-14) and appears headed in the right direction.
Canadiens roster features Fasth & Dubnyk in goal, an excellent minor league system, and a good group to build around! The team is led by a young core of players Bailey, Tatar, Conacher, Desharnais, Eakin, and Maatta with a couple of veterans to anchor the roster in Bieksa and Brouwer. This franchise's greatest strength is its Minor League system which features the likes of Curtis Lazar, Scott Harrington, Stefan Noesen, Tim Bozon, Sebastien Collberg, Jarred Tinordi, and Magnus Hellberg. The future looks bright in Montreal especially with new ownership and GM in tow! :toast: :winner:

Certainly excited to take over this franchise and keep driving in the direction the team is headed. I don't like to guarantee championships or playoff appearances, but I will say that I will work tirelessly to turn this team into a serious contender. That's definitely got me wondering now.
There is a new gm for the team and a better match for the league. I am sure PPG or PR will make a formal announcement soon. Sorry for the past gm, didn't know who he was and he just offered to be gm when I first was looking.
