Will there be an actual Frenzy?
Who's a SELLER and who's a BUYER?
The FNHL trade deadline is February 25th so who's going to get the frenzy started.

The Sellers might have moved a lot of merchandise already.
But there are always others who want to move goods at a good price to contenders or just teams that want to setup their cap structure for the offseason lining up expiring contracts of vets.

Apparently. It's going to be a ride.

The Ducks were never going to be buyers this season but sellers. The Ducks had a number of good/great players but some of those players had to be traded away to clear some cap and get draft picks.
When I first took over we only had about 5 minors and a number of open spots. Therefore I had to cut or trade some players to get more cap space for next season. I think I have done that with the trades to acquire about 10 additional draft picks for next season to help with our lack of minors. The Duck cap space will be better going into next season for free agency especially if the NHL cap space goes up again.
I know some owners might have questioned the Byfuglien trade but the cap space saved from that trade will possibly get me additional free agents that can replace Byfuglien.

:iatp: You got to take control and make the team your own. No point working with other people's sloppy 2nds if you can do better with a clean slate. Keep going gents!

Change is painful. But nothing is more painful than staying somewhere you don't belong. Caps were happy to make some moves, watching the playoffs is painful.
I am finding out with my Oilers squad that growth is just as painful :P I wanted to make moves, but knew it was not in our best long term interest and to let these kids develop.

i am happy with where my teams are at. I would actually say they are right on schedule. The Coyote team may look down but point wise they are much better than last season in a much stronger league. Early on a few trades were presented to me that changed my plan a little. Toronto has a strong squad where the minor league needs a little polisher ( this years draft). Arizona can fo some damage but slightly behind Toronto. The coyote minor league team is pretty solid and should have a couple EL contracts next season. With one possiably ( Adrian Kempe) this week. CBJ is in the oven, i like the current make up of the roster. I will use the playoff time to deeply evaluate the minor league roster. Scoutting is already being done for all 3 franchises. Next season i expect these rankings. Toronto top10, Coyotes low teens (13-14) and CBJ Top 20.
