Looks like it would take a drawn out extra innings game with two more outs from Konerko, or a GIDP, but I'm not holding my breath... ouch...

What a matchup.. the Phillies - Brewers playoff tilt has been anticipated for about a year. It was originally expected to be the NLCS, but for many weeks now it has been known that it would come down to these two teams in the opening round. As expected, it was a hell of a show, a mini-World Series if you will, and the Phillies, who had the match all week, took it back in the closing hours thanks to their trade-deadline acquisition of Paul Konerko.
The rematches of the 2008 NLCS and the 1981 ALCS are here...

It was also last year's real-life NLCS. I'm rooting for the Dodgers of course, maybe they'll at least win in fantasy baseball

Congrats to the Dodgers and Mgr Mezzetti for the win over my Stros. The Dodgers put together a very good team and eventhough the Dodgers had a large cap to work with it takes some managing of the cap room to put together and manage that team, for that you get my vote for this years top Mgr and again congrats and good luck...

Yankees go in the red and are down 100 points after the first day... doesn't mean too much yet. Consider it the A's taking game one of a seven game series.

Yankees take the lead while the A's lose some points. Meanwhile, the consistent Phillies build on their lead.
P.S. - I updated 26 of the 30 MLB franchises' team histories. The four teams still in the hunt will be updated once their season finishes.
