Alright KC makes this trade for Simon and now Vespi, they are worth the two midround picks and the INT money will most likely be used in a future trade, so I can consider it an investment in the future.

I like McCarthy and Monasterio, but I am pleased with this haul of prospects more than I wanted to keep them, they were probably right on the age borderline of keeping for our timeline of competing. I appreciate the White Sox negotiating and I'm glad we were able to make this deal.

C Rodolfo Duran PC

KC make this trade to move Grisham as he was never going to fit our timeline. Sauer has the potential to make the transition from reliever to starter down the road. Duran had solid numbers last year at AAA and gives us another catching prospect to watch for alongside Blake Hunt.

I am a Boston fan and a big believer in Wong, but we make the move for a younger catcher. I am betting that Lee will benefit from playing behind Maldonado and Stassi and take a leap in the future. Rosario will be missed, but again we have the outfield prospect depth to make it easier to part ways.
